Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Online Courses

Overview

We offer both a comprehensive and a shortened online course on Quality Improvement. The long version, named ‘A Key for Health Systems Strengthening, consists of 8 modules and is closely tutored and supervised by our experts.

The short version — ‘Quality Improvement — A Prerequisite for Universal Health Coverage’ — is an expedited programme that covers less material and that allows for more flexibility, since no supervision is necessary.

In addition, we offer the course ‘Patient Safety in Clinical and Resource Poor Settings’, which covers a range of patient safety related topics in hospital settings.

All three courses are designed to benefit public health professionals, quality managers, medical and paramedical staff, TropEd students, global health consultants, Ministries and development partners. Both courses are accredited and can count towards a TropEd degree.

The courses run via the weLearn academy platform, which was developed by our partner aQua Quality in Health Care.

We offer the course ‘Quality Improvement — A Prerequisite for Universal Health Coverage’ in both English and French.
